목차
없음본문내용
There is no possibility to avoid taking the TOEIC in order to get a job. Seeing the language academy, there are a lot of students who prepare for the TOEIC. Most students memorize English words and read very thick books, because they want to get a high TOEIC score which companies require. What is the reason most people want to take the TOEIC ?First, when a lot of companies or organizations hire new employees, they include the TOEIC score in order to take employment test and some applicants don`t submit even their application form or resume, for the reason that they indicate TOEIC score in the qualifications. It is a more desirable method to evaluate the applicants according to their expertise and in a practical in order to employ qualified workers. For instance, the advertising company requires applicants to produce an advertisement for the topic that is given instead of the TOEIC score. If that were the case, as a result, many people who want to land a job can reduce their time studying TOEIC and spend more time upgrading themselves.
Second, Some companies or organizations prefer TOEIC scores as the basis of their evaluation of the applicants` fluency in order to measure how much they know about English. However, that begs the question, if the person has a high TOEIC score, does that mean that the person is fluent in English? Of course, a person who has high score also has excellent English skill. But if that person doesn`t speak English well, how can we consider the person as fluent in English? Where is the logic in that ?
