On a perfectly lovely Sunday, I am in a Starbucks coffee with a cup of white mocha, the sweet flavor tickling through my body. When I sip it, I feel like I can finish my writing assignment in one sitting just as I sometimes crammed for examination in Korea. Actually it did work quite well, since the same taste and flavor inspired my studying.
It was a common sight to see students with a cup of coffee in one hand on the way to the school in Korea. A similar morning sight is seen here, too. Students are in a hurry not to be late to class, and that reminds me of me running every morning not to miss the bus to go school when I was in my town.

While I might be able to enjoy the same Starbucks latte in Dallas as I did in Korea, I find it hard to find and similarity in socializing when comparing the two very different places. People in Texas walk up and say “How are you.” The first couple of times, it took me a long time to respond, because it was unfamiliar to me, and I did not know how to react.
