Disney has adapted various kinds of fairy tales and created new works based upon them. Among them, I believe the most successful adaptation would be the animated film called "Tangled"." "Tangled" is Disney's 50th animated feature film and it is based on the Grimm brothers' German fairy tale "Rapunzel." The film was indeed based on the original story, but its setting was changed to a modern perspective and presented a unique character and story.
