본문내용
Because people send on average spend 7 to 8 hours sleeping out of 24 hours in a day, sleep is obviously an essential part of our lives. In other words, one quarter of our life span, or approximately 20 years, is spent solely on sleeping. During sleep, there are many neurological, biological, physiological and psychological reactions taking place, such as changes in wavelength of electroencephalography (EEG), depending on the different stages of sleep or dreaming. Besides interesting reactions that take place during sleep, I came across an intriguing news article that argues there is a close relationship between sleep and memory. As a grade 12 student, I often suffer from sleep deprivation due to burdensome tasks like frequent assignments and tests. On average, I go to sleep at 2:30 a.m. and wake up at 6:30 a.m., which means I only get 4 hours of sleep per night. At the same time, I often suffer from memory losses during school and at home.참고 자료
