In this experiment, the straight pipe loss occurring in the pipe flow was investigated and the roughness when the flow was turbulent was an experiment. Pressure loss inevitably occurs in pipe flow, which is thought to be due to friction between the pipe and the fluid.
First, to obtain the straight pipe loss in the pipe, it was calculated using the given experimental values such as flow rate, time, and pressure, and using this, the Reynolds number, friction coefficient, head loss, and roughness were calculated and compared and analyzed.
Meanwhile, the experiment was carried out in tubes with inner diameters of 4.5 mm, 10.5 mm, and 16.5 mm, and the temperature was assumed to be 24.7℃ as measured through the experimental device.
After connecting the pipe to be measured, adjust the flow valve to let the fluid flow, wait until it is in a steady state, and when it is stabilized in the normal state, measure the flow rate through the water tank and measure the height difference.
