1. Purpose
proteins are essential nutrients for body composition and enzyme production. In particular, proteins in plasma are important for substance transport, immune function, and skin protection. However, high plasma protein concentrations can mean health problems. Also, the amino acid, the degradation product of the protein, contains nitrogen, which is released in the form of urea. The liver is an important place where transamination occurs.
