1.Purpose
After seeing a lot of information about superfoods in the modern mass media that are focusing on good food intake and health, I was selected this subject after seeing an article about not only advantages but also problems while researching superfood.
2.Definition
The term has no official definition by regulatory authorities in major consumer markets, such as the United states food and drug administration and Department of agriculture or the European food safety authority. It appears to have been first used in a Canadian newspaper in 1949 when referring to the supposed nutritional qualities of a muffin.
And Dr. Steven G. Pratt, a nutritional authority in the United States, recommends 14 types of foods that are common in the world's longevity, Greece and Okinawa. It was called super food. Typical superfoods include almonds, blueberries, broccoli, sweet pumpkin, chestnuts, beans, kale, oats, oranges, salmon and plain yogurt.
