Nowadays, the diabetes is considered quite common disease because of modern times diet and lifestyle or genetic problem. Approximately 170 million people are diabetic patients in 2007 and the number of diabetic patients shows the tendency of being double by 2030 (Brem and Tomic-Canic, 2007). Basically, the diabetes is the disease which causes the high blood sugar level of the patient because of deficiency of hormone known as insulin. Because of this, these patients suffer some complications in various organs, diabetic retinopathy, nephropathy, neuropathy and cardiovascular disease (WHO, n.d.), and it also has possibility to effect to the function of curing acute cutaneous wounds.
The skin of organism has several functions including protection from matters which can cause noxious influence to the organism such as pathogens and micro-organisms; this is one of the main functions. However, because of this main function, the skin faces and is exposed to the harmful environment and easily gets injuries or damaged such as cuts, burns and scratches that can be considered as acute cutaneous wounds by outer situations or environments`.
