1 Executive Summary
Singapore is one of the most successful metropolises of the postwar period. It had excellent and ingenious workforces upon multi nationalities, thus this is one of the best places and an innovative globalize economy environment. The country has the world's most open market, and enforced law and order for Intellectual Property Right protection, including one of the highest anti corruption indices in the world. From our findings, the major Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) contributors to Singapore are the USA, Japan, the UK, and EU countries, as well as many more leading countries. FDI inflows affect many sectors in Singapore, such as technology, financial, medical, etc. For many years, Singapore has maintained a good relationship with EU countries. In the 1970's an overseas training center was set up with the goal of knowledge exchange.
