4) Motivation
T: Everybody, open your books to pages 256 and 257. Look at the picture. What do you see?There's a tiger. Do you know how many tigers are still alive in Korea? In this unit, we're going to learn about tigers. We'll also learn how to agree, express opinions, and compare. Then we're going to read a passage about tigers. Finally, we'll practice writing a paragraph using information presented in a table.
5) Presentation of Today's Learning Objectives
T: In today's class, we're going to listen to dialogs and talk about endangered animals. We'll also learn how to agree, express opinions, and compare different things. Finally, we're going to play an information gap activity. In this activity, you'll have an opportunity to practice asking and answering questions about when particular animals became extinct.
