Brief Introduction about this book & author
Lois Lowry is the one of the women author in United States. She has well known as writer of children's literature and so she got the Newbery Awards in 1993 as the writer of "The Giver". The Giver illuminates us dark side of utopia and many thinking about future society. There has never been crime, private property, discrimination, unemployment, pain, ill and hunger at society in the book. Eventually all the member in the society has happiness as delusion. All the member have been controled by the community and the rules even in the book.
