Park Jin Young or also known for JYP, the C.E.O. at the same time a singer, producer and the manager of Wonder Girls which will be elaborated further, has successfully advertised JYP to American music market despite many doubts of the people that Asian music will not be successful in the U.S. with the prove of many failing Asian artists. Like in the case of Japan, Utada Hikaru, a skillful Japanese top-singer failed to attain popularity in U.S. music market. Basically, for singers to promote themselves to create awareness among people, ceaseless concerts, broadcast featuring, and the other activities related to the media and radio are said to be essential. However, due to lack of advertising activities, Hikaru sold only 20,000 CDs in U.S. market while she sold approximately 10 million CDs in her home country. What is more, the sales of the CD were mostly from Hawaii where lots of oversees Japanese lived and the fact that Hawaii is a state where many of foreign cultures are adapted.
