In reading Martin Luther King Jr.’s book, I learned that a human can be very incredible. Especially when he said “If physical death is the price that some must pay to free their children from a permanent life of psychological death, then nothing could be more Christian,” I was thrilled by this sentence. I doubt that I will answer like him. To review his sermons and essays, I am going to share about my experience in working in elementary school. The school, where I worked for three years, also was not separated from violence. Fights among students were normal, between a teacher and a student, and even teachers and parents sometimes fought. The book reminded me of two kids that I taught for the first time. One was “normal” and smart, and the other had a handicap, meaning he was fourteen years old but had the mental capacity of a ten year old. But the normal boy was not “normal” in some meanings. He would hit the handicapped student many times without reason.
