1. Preface

Today, we are going to tell you about the 'Internet' changing the world dramatically. The Internet changes everything, how we work, how we play, how we communicate, how we run our business.
Now, we are going to tell you summarized history of internet, and explain how Internet changes the world.

2. The history

The origin of "INTERNET" is "ARPANET". The U.S. Department of Defense project called "ARPANET" was first conceived during the Cold War with the goal of creating a distributed communications network that could survive a nuclear attack.
ARPANET began in the fall of 1969 with the successful linking of four computers, which were located at the University of California at Los Angeles, SRI (in Stanford), University of California at Santa Barbara, and the University of Utah.
