My name is Kim Youn Young and I graduated from Catholic University with a major in Korean history. And then I went to graduate school to study Museology. From my studies now I work at Seoul Museum of History which is supported by Seoul city. This museum is about the history of Seoul, showing the history and culture of the nation's capital from the prehistoric age to the modern age, with main focus on the Joseon Dynasty. It aims to preserve the traditional culture and history of Seoul and to have a better establishment of cultural character, as well as promote patriotism for the nation's capital. Also it provides the people of Seoul an opportunity to have cultural nostalgia, and education center for deepening their understanding and awareness of Seoul's culture and history. The Museum consists of Dep. of Administration, Dep. of Exhibit Supporting, Dep. of Exhibit Planning, Dep. of Art Operation and Dep. of Relic Preservation. I am involved in Exhibit Planning which takes care of relics exhibit and its education for people. Our department is usually charged in making fundermantal plans and operating for exhibition and we develop programs for education to give people understanding of Seoul's history
