Comparison & AnalysisIn this section, I’ll try to compare Baidu with the most successful E-commerce company Google in different aspects, in order to give my analysis of advantages & disadvantages.
From the interface and technology point view, Baidu is just another Chinese version of Google. I checked its contents which related to the interface (closest links) even company introduction and community functions are very similar too. The most important differences of these two companies are Google has been well known almost by everyone who can surf the internet, its influences and power in the western E-commerce market chain (especially US) are indubitable, its vast (huge) database of various kinds of information are the most famous information and intelligence collection in the world, its program version almost covered all the main languages which being used by people all over the world, its global strategy and vision of the future is unmatchable compare to Baidu’s vision of domestic developing, its tremendous advantage in the global HR (Human Resources) market will become one of the most important factors that maintain its hegemony in the global search engine field. According to these comparisons, the advantage & disadvantages of Baidu could be summarized as follow:
