John Forbes Nash Jr. is a real figure of the Hollywood movie “A Beautiful mind” who is born in June 13, 1928. He is an American economist and mathematician who accomplished differential geometry and partial differential equations. His theories are widely used in market economics, computing, evolutionary biology, artificial intelligence, accounting and military theory. He is spending his later part of the life at Prince ton University, and he honored the 1994 Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences with game theorists Reinhard Selten and John Harsanyi. Although he accomplished considerable achievement in mathematical field, he is not only an outstanding scholar, but also a person who overcome his disease ‘paranoid schizophrenia’ with indefatigable spirit.

John Nash was a student with the major of chemical engineering when he entered Carnegie Technology University, which is Carnegie Mellon University now, in Pittsburgh. But after one semester as a chemical student he changed his major to chemistry instead. From John Nash’s autobiography written at the time of the award and later published in the book series Nobel Lectures, he mentions this moment “But again, after continuing in chemistry for a while I encountered difficulties with
