T : OK. Read the next, please.
S3 : What`s so original about this project? The people answering the phones aren`t experts; they`re 14 to 18 year-olds.
T : Stop here. Good. What`s so original... Do you guys know the meaning of `original`?
Ss : No.
T : Then look at the screen. There are some definitions of the different words. Guess what is the meaning of `original`. What is the answer?
Ss : Number 2? 3?
T : The answer is number 3. We can use this word, when someone or something is very imaginative and has new ideas. We can say `독창적이다‘ in Korean. And these are different meanings of `original`. (show other slide)
T : Is there any difficult thing?
Ss : No.
T : Then make a new sentence by using `original`.
(1minute later)
T : Did you make a sentence? S4, read aloud the sentence you made.
S4 : I found the original book.
T : S4 used the second (in the PPT slide) meaning of `original`. OK. Good. (make some students read aloud their sentences)
T : Turning to the textbook, the people answering the phones aren`t experts. `Answering` is present participle. What`s the function of present participle? Look at the screen. In this sentence, `answering` is modifying `the people`. Can you understand?
Ss : No.
