From a few years ago, many people around me have gotten divorced. I found some research that the divorce rate of South Korea is 42%. There were only 3 in 1000 couples who ended up in divorce. Nowadays, almost half of couples get divorced. Undoubtedly, Korea is becoming one of the countries with high divorce figure. The surging divorce rate of Korea is ranked in the third of OECD member countries.

From a few years ago, many people around me have gotten divorced. I found some research that the divorce rate of South Korea is 42%. There were only 3 in 1000 couples who ended up in divorce. Nowadays, almost half of couples get divorced. Undoubtedly, Korea is becoming one of the countries with high divorce figure. The surging divorce rate of Korea is ranked in the third of OECD member countries. More than 135,000 couples get divorced every year, whereas there are 320,000 couples getting married every year. Who would deny the fact that this is a big problem? At the first time, I wanted to write that how we should do reduce the divorce rate. However, we can think bout cohabitation as one of solutions. And a recent release of the film, `Wani and Junha`, showed non-marital cohabitation of the two main characters in a beautiful setting.
