유아교육기관에서의 폭력에 대한 연구 동향 분석: 2000년부터 2018년까지 국내학술지를 중심으로 (An Analysis of Research Trends in Violence in Early Childhood Education Institutions : Based on Korean Journals Published from 2000 to 2018)

초록

본 연구는 유아교육기관에서의 폭력에 대한 국내학술지 논문의 동향을 탐색하고 이후 연구의 방향을 모색하는데 목적이 있다. 이러한 연구목적을 수행하기 위하여 2000년 이후 2018까지 발표된 국내 등재지 및 등재 후보 학술지 논문 중 폭력 관련 논문 112편을 선정해 발행연도, 연구주제, 연구대상, 연구방법에 따른 경향을 분석했다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 유아교육기관에서의 폭력에 대한 연구의 발행 시기별 경향은 2012년도까지 5편 미만으로 연구되어오다가 2013년부터 증가하는 양상을 보였다. 둘째, 유아교육기관에서의 폭력에 대한 연구의 주제별 경향은 예방 및 개입에 대한 연구가 전체 연구의 과반을 차지했으며, 인식 및 실태, 원인 및 요인 순으로 이루어졌다. 셋째, 유아교육기관에서의 폭력에 대한 연구의 대상별 경향은 단일 대상으로는 교사를 대상으로 한 연구가 가장 많았으며, 문헌, 유아, 부모 순으로 나타났다. 넷째, 유아교육기관에서의 폭력에 대한 연구의 방법별 경향은 양적 연구가 월등하게 많았으며 이어 문헌연구, 질적연구, 프로그램 개발 연구 순으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 유아교육기관에서의 폭력에 관한 연구의 동향을 살펴보고 향후 정책 수립에 필요한 연구를 제안했다는데 의의가 있다.

영어초록

The purpose of this study was to explore trends in Korean journals about violence in early childhood education institutions and to find future directions of research. In order to accomplish this purpose, 112 violence-related papers were selected from domestic journals published from 2000 to 2018, which were searched through the Research Information Sharing Service (RISS). The trends were analyzed according to year, research theme, research subjects, and research methods. The results of the study are as follows. First, there were less than five studies per year on violence in early childhood education institutions until 2013, when the number of studies per year began to increase. Second, research themes on violence in early childhood education institutions trended mostly toward prevention and intervention, followed by perception, status, and causes and factors. Third, most studies on violence in early childhood education institutions were about teachers, while others were on literature, children, and parents, in that order. Fourth, most studies of violence in early childhood education institutions were quantitative, followed by literature reviews, qualitative studies, and program development research. This study is meaningful that the trends of research on violence in early childhood education institutions have been studied and suggests what studies are necessary in the future.
