초록

플루서에게 역사는 문자텍스트로 이루어진 모든 인간 커뮤니케이션의 산물로서 ‘문자문화’, 탈역사는 20세기 이후 현재까지 인간이 카메라, 텔레비전, 컴퓨터, 케이블 네트워크 등 기구에 의해 창조․교환되는 ‘화상문화’로 파악될수 있다. 선형코드인 글이 역사시대를 이끌었다면, 오늘날 기구에 의해 창조된 새로운 평면코드로서 그림은 탈역사시대를 이끌고 있다. 후자인 평면코드는 ‘기술적 형상’이라고 불리고, 장면을 모방한 전통적인 그림(회화)과 달리문자텍스트인 개념(구상, 시나리오)에서 유래하고 개념을 상상할 수 있게 구체화한 그림이다. 인간은 이제 역사시대의 문자텍스트를 기초로 ‘기술적 상상’을 통해 기술적 형상을 창조하고 이를 다시 문자텍스트로 해석함으로써 역사와 탈역사의 경계를 넘나드는 존재가 되었다.

영어초록

In the Flusser’s philosophy of human communication, the history can be understood as ‘text-culture’ which is a product of all human communications in written form of text, and post-history from the 20th century to today as ‘image culture’ that is created and exchanged by apparatuses such as cameras, televisions, computers, cable networks etc. While the texts as linear codes led the history era, the new pictures as plane codes that are created by apparatuses lead today the post-history era. The latter as new plane codes is called ‘technical pictures’, unlike the traditional pictures (painting) which is modeled after the scenes of the world, comes from the text, i. e. concept (scenario) and will be able to imagine the concept embodied in the picture. The man crosses now the boundaries of history and post-history by creating of technical pictures which are based on the text through the technical imagination, and by interpreting them again as text.
