초록

1920년대 한·일 시대적 상황을 비교해 보면서 그 시대를 배경으로 한 소설 속의 히로인을 중심으로 하는 플롯의 전개 과정을 살펴보았다. 당시의 여성이 일반적으로 근대교육을 받을 수 있다는 것 자체가 부유층을 상징하는 것이므로 작품에 그려진 두 주인공인 나오미와 춘경은 희소성의 가치를 가지기에 충분하다. 그 희소성은 새로운 근대화의 표상으로 보여질 수 있다. 새로운 문화로의 수용의 기회가 일반적이지 못했다는 시대적 상황으로 볼 때 신문화에 쉽게 접근할 수 있는 환경의 여성을 상대적으로 선망의 대상으로 볼 수 있다. 그것은 ‘나오미즘(ナオミズ厶)’이라는 유행어가 탄생하고 춘경의 서구화되어 가는 모습을 부러워하는 작품 속의 인물에서 조명해 볼 수가 있겠다. 부모와 가문의 결정에 의한 봉건적 결혼은 여성의 순결과 가부장 중심의 생활을 강요하였다. 근대화 과정에서의 남녀평등과 여성해방은 성의식의 변화를 가져오게 되며 작품 서두에서 지금까지는 그다지 유례가 없었던 우리들 같은 부부관계도 점차 여기저기서 생길 거라고 생각되니까요 라고 한 것처럼 『痴人の愛』에서 보여지는 부부상은 현대를 살아가는 젊은 커플의 수많은 자화상으로 볼 수 있다. 1920년대 근대화의 과정에서의 공업화는 새로운 직업과 핵가족을 양산하게 된다. 나오미의 성적일탈은 남편 조지의 사랑과 존경으로 미화되었고 춘경은 남편 창호의 일방적 결정에 의해 매도되었다. 근대화 과정에서의 핵가족화는 여성에게 사회진출에 기회를 주었는데 그 과정에서 남성중심의 사회구조 속에 겪어야 했던 그 시대의 여성들의 성의식도 고찰할 수 있었다.

영어초록

In this article, I compared the Tanizaki Zunichiro with the Yeom Sangseup in terms of an extension of the intertextuality between Korean and Japanese literature. The scope of the research was limited to the "A Fool's Love of Tanizaki " and "Two Minds" written in 1925 and 1929. In the works, there is the situation of the era that was suddenly changed at that time is intact. In other words, the modernity of Tokyo and Gyeongseong of the 1920s influenced by Japan are realistically described. In the 1920s Japan, especially in Tokyo, was a period of westernization, such as the diffusion of cultural houses and the industrialization of agriculture to industrialized countries. Gyeongseong was the time when modernization was spurred by the capital of Japanese which was increased. During the Taiso period, Japan was a time when the middle class grew rapidly due to the growth of private companies, and women's status also rose.
"A Fool's Love " is the last work that Tanizaki started to use before moving to the Kansai region, and it is regarded as a work in which Western ideology, which is one of the great features of Tanizaki's early literature, is condensed. And it is the work which describe relatively detailed picture of Japanese Westernization process at the time.
The two works, "A Fool's Love" and "Two Minds", which were dealt with in this study, gave a glimpse into the situation of the 1920s. In both of Korea and Japan, gender equality and liberation of women in the process of modernization brought about changes in consciousness.
