초록

This paper comprehensively studies the Zhuzi Yulei Kaowenjieyi(朱子語類考文解義)compiled by Lee Ui-cheol(李宜哲) in the late Joseon(朝鮮) period. We firstly investigated the research trends of the Zhuzi yulei(朱子語類)which was carried out along with the advancement of Neo-Confucianism study. We then looked into 1, the problems in Zhuzi Yulei Daquan(朱子語類大全) compiled by Hong Gye-hui(洪啓禧); 2, the motive creating Zhuzi Yulei Kaowenjieyi; 3, the differences between the Kyujanggak(奎章閣)'s and the Janseogak(藏書閣)'s version of Zhuzi Yulei Kaowenjieyi; 4, the characteristics of the subject matters and annotations in this book. Through this research we re-illustrated the academic significance of the Zhuzi Yulei Kaowenjieyi in the development of Neo-Confucianism in the late Joseon period.
