농학계 대학의 프로젝트 기반 인턴십에 대한 질적 사례연구 (The Qualitative Case Study of a Project-Based Internship in a Agricultural College)

초록

이 연구는 농학계 대학의 프로젝트 기반 인턴십에 대한 질적 사례를 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 연구 목적을 달성하기 위해, 2022학년도 2학기 프로젝트 기반 인턴십을 운영한 T기업의 인사담당자 1명과 인턴십에 참여한 C단과대학 재학생 4명을 대상으로 질적 사례연구를 수행하였다. C단과대학의 2022학년도 하계 인턴십 프로그램 시행 계획과 인턴십 지원서, 연구 참여자와의 심층면담 및 메신저 대화를 통해 자료를 수집하였고 Elo와 Kyngas(2007)가 제안한 질적 내용분석 방법에 따라 자료를 분석하였다. 연구의 타당도와 신뢰도를 확보하기 위해 참여자 확인 및 동료검토 기법을 활용하였다.
분석 결과, 농학계 대학의 프로젝트 기반 인턴십은 인턴 중심의 환경을 조성하기 위한 단계적이고 유기적인 산학협동의 과정이었다. 인턴들은 주도적이고 능동적으로 프로젝트 과업을 수행하였고 그 과정에서 기업 내 다양한 관계자와 상호작용을 하면서 무형식 학습을 경험하였다. 특히, 인턴 기간 동안 기업 사무실뿐만 아니라 농장과 시장을 경험으로써 다양한 농산업 분야를 경험하였다. 연구 참여자인 인턴은 프로젝트 기반 인턴십을 통해 자기효능감 함양, 스타트업과 농생명 분야에 대한 인식 개선, 진로선택에 도움을 받았음을 보고하였다. 상기 연구 결과를 바탕으로 후속 연구를 제언하였다.

영어초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze a qualitative case of a project-based internship in a agricultural college. In order to achieve the purpose of the study, a qualitative case study was conducted with one person in charge of human resources department from a T company, which operated a project-based internship in the second semester of 2022, and four students from C college who participated in the internship. Data were collected through C college's internship program implementation plan, internship applications, in-depth interviews with research participants, and messenger conversations, and the data were analyzed according to the qualitative content analysis method proposed by Elo and Kyngas(2007). Member checking and peer debriefing techniques were used for validity and reliability of the study, As a result of the analysis, the project-based internship were a step-by-step and organic process of industrial-educational cooperation to create an intern-centered environment. The interns took initiative and actively carried out project tasks, and in the process, they experienced informal learning while interacting with various stakeholders in the company. In particular, during the internship period, they experienced various agricultural industries by experiencing farms and markets as well as offices. The interns who participated in the study reported that the project-based internship helped to develop self-efficacy, improve their awareness of start-up and agricultural industry, and choose their career path. Based on the above research results, follow-up studies were suggested.
