제주장수노인의 사회적 부양체계에 대한 탐색적 연구 (A Social Welfare Policy Toward Social Nursing Promotion For Jeju’s old-oldest People)

초록

본 연구는 제주지역 장수노인들의 부양체계와 복지수준에 대한 실태와 문제점을 탐색함으로써 장수노인들의 삶의 질적 수준 향상, 사회적 부양 정책 수립 및 향후 장수와 관련된 제반 정책 수립의 기초자료를 제공하는 데 목적을 두고 있다. 연구방법으로는 문헌조사와 설문지 면접조사가 사용되었고, 특히 359명의 85세 이상 장수노인을 대상으로 한 설문조사에서는 장수노인의 주거환경, 경제생활, 건강상태 및 의료서비스, 가족관계 및 부양대책, 여가 및 사회생활, 노인복지정책 및 서비스, 일반사항 등 장수노인의 사회적 부양체계가 분석되었다. 그리고 향후 제주장수노인의 복지대책을 위해서 소득보장, 보건의료서비스 보장, 부양대책, 일자리 프로그램, 주거보장, 여가생활, 재가노인복지서비스, 지역사회보호 등에 대한 방안이 제시되었다.

영어초록

This study is to explore the extent to which social nursing system and welfare level in Jeju’s elderly people over 85-year old have exposed. It is also focused on seeking out some significant and optimal policies to improve the existing social nursing system and welfare practices for Jeju’s old-oldest people.
Both literature review and social survey were used as a research method, especially relying on in-depth interview survey based on the structured questionnaire. Given to the elderly in Jeju, the primary factors such as residence environment, economic life, health service status, family nursing problem, leisure and social participation, and social service policy, and so on for themselves were analyzed based on in-depth interview data collecting from 359 old-oldest ones. This study implies future welfare policies(i.e., income, health care service, nursing, residence, leisure, community care program, etc.) for Jeju’s elderly people, thus to be initiated by central and local government. With advent of aging society, this study would be expected to be a sort of cornerstone to make Jeju people prepare for those welfare policies.
