체육계열 진로 연구동향 분석 (Analyzing Research Trends of Career in the Field of Physical Education and Sports)

초록

본 연구는 체육계열 진로에 관한 연구동향을 분석하고 향후 체육계열 진로에 관한 논의가 어떠한 방향으로 나아가야 하는지 제언하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 이러한 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 토픽모델링 분석기법을 활용하였으며, ‘체육’과 ‘진로‘를 키워드로 하여 체육진로에 관한 논의가 시작 된 1967년 이후 모든 학술연구 자료를 분석대상으로 설정하였다. 토픽모델링을 적용한 결과는 다음과 같다. 체육과 진로를 키워드로 적용한 결과 총 7가지의 상위범주(양적연구, 운동선수 진로, 청소년 진로교육, 교육과정, 진로지원 정책, 진로준비를 위한 활동, 진로역량)가 도출되었다. 이러한 연구의 결과는 주로 설문조사를 통한 양적접근이 진로연구에서 다수 이루어짐을 시사하고 있다. 또한, 체육계열의 특수성에 따라 ’운동선수‘들의 은퇴 후 진로선택에 대한 스트레스 등이 반영된 것으로 나타났다. 청소년 진로교육과 교육과정 그리고 진로지원 정책은 사회문제로 대두되고 있는 청년 실업률 해소를 위해 국가차원의 적극적인 움직임이 반영된 것으로 보여진다. 다음으로 나타난 진로준비를 위한 활동 및 진로역량 범주는 체육계열 학과 학생들의 진로 선택에 대한 인식부재와 경험 부족으로 자신에게 적합한 진로선택을 위한 다양한 기회의 제공이 필요하다는 것을 보여준다.

영어초록

This study aims to suggest the ways in which discussions on career in the area of Physical Education and Sports should be discussed by analyzing research trends of career in the field of Physical Education and Sports. To achieve the purpose, topic modeling analysis was utilized as a research method with two main key-words ‘Physical Education and Sports’ and ‘Career’ since the discussions on career in PE and sports areas in 1967. The results of this study suggested a total of 7 categories as follow: 1) quantitative research, 2) careers on athletes, 3) career education for juvenile, curriculum, policies on career support, activities for preparing career, and career competency. First of all, there have been many quantitative research(surveys and experiments) on career in the field of PE and sports. The result of this study also reflected negative issues in choosing career of athletes after their retirement. In addition, career issues such as career education, curriculum, and its policies have been continuously supported in the government level. Lastly, the last two categories(activities for preparing career and career competency) have shown that more research on the absence of awareness and its competency of career in order to provide various opportunities for students in the department of PE and sports.
