중국학전공 플립러닝 수업 사례 연구―D대학 국제지역학부 중국학전공의 ‘중국경제론’ 수업을 중심으로 (A case study about 'flipped learing' in the department of sinology)

초록

본 논문은 D대학 국제지역학부 중국학전공 학생들을 대상으로 2021년 2학기에 실시한 ‘중국경제론’ 수업의 플립러닝 운영 사례를 소개한 논문이다. 플립러닝은 일명 ‘거꾸로 수업’이라 불리면서 강의실의 역할을 토론과 질문의 장으로 변화시키고 기존 이론의 전달은 사전 제작된 동영상을 통하여 수강생들이 선행학습을 하도록 하는 방식이다. 필자는 본 교과목의 담당교수로서 15주 수업 중 총 6차례의 플립러닝 수업을 진행하였다. 6번의 사전학습 동영상, 본학습 토론/질문, 사후 결과물 순으로 강의를 진행하였으며 이 중 담당교수가 주도한 것은 사전학습 동영상 제작이었고 본학습 토론/질문과 사후 결과물 제작은 수강생들이 자체적으로 주도하여 진행하였다. 본 논문에서는 이 중 3주의 플립러닝 강의 사례를 선정하여 수강생들의 토론 결과물을 소개하였다. 모두 조별 활동의 시너지효과를 객관적으로 느낄 수 있는 것들이었다고 생각된다. 또 학기 후반기에는 본 교과목의 플립러닝 강의에 대해 수강생들에게 심도있는 설문과 의견 제시를 진행하였다. 대부분의 수강생들이 플립러닝 방식의 강의에 대해서 매우 큰 만족을 느끼고 자기학습능력에 대한 자신감이 제고된 것을 알 수 있으며 향후에도 이러한 방식의 강의가 매우 필요하다고 느끼고 있음을 알 수 있었다.

영어초록

This thesis is an introduction to the case of the operation of flip learning in the ‘Chinese Economics’ class conducted in the second semester of 2021 for students of the Chinese studies major in the Department of International and Regional Studies at University D. Flip learning, so-called 'reverse class', changes the role of the classroom into a forum for discussion and questioning, and the delivery of existing theories is a method that allows students to learn ahead of time through pre-made videos. As a professor in charge of this subject, I conducted a total of 6 flip learning classes out of 15 weeks of classes. The lecture was conducted in the order of 6 pre-learning videos, main study discussion/question, and post-results. In this paper, three-week flip-learning lecture cases were selected and the students' discussion results were introduced. I think they were all things that objectively felt the synergy effect through group activities. In addition, in the second half of the semester, in-depth questionnaires and opinions were presented to the students about the flip learning lecture of this course. Most of the students were very satisfied with the flip-learning-type lectures, and it was found that their confidence in their self-learning ability was improved, and they felt that such lectures were very necessary in the future.
