본 연구는 게할더스 보스의 『개혁교의학』의 신학적 정체(正體)가 무엇인지를밝히는 것을 그 목적으로 한다. 보스는 자신의 교의학 체계에 ‘성경신학적 사유’를도입하여, 성경 말씀에 근거한 ‘하나님 중심적 신학사상’을 전개하였다. ‘하나님 중심적 신학사상’은 ‘하나님’과 ‘그의 계시된 말씀’을 세계해석의 총체적 근거로 이해하는, ‘하나님을 따라서 하나님의 사유를 사유하는 신학사상’을 가리킨다. 이러한 ‘하나님 중심적 신학사상’은 ‘언약론’을 통해 더욱 구체적으로 개현되는데, 기본적으로 보스의 ‘언약론’은 ‘중보자 그리스도의 인격성’에로 집중되고 있다. 결국 보스의 ‘하나님 중심적 신학사상’은 ‘중보자 그리스도의 인격성’을 통해 ‘하나님의 영광’이 현시되는 것이 그 요체이다. 그럼에도 보스의 ‘하나님 중심적 신학사상’은 사람을 배제하지 않는데, ‘의의 전가’를 통한 ‘중보자 그리스도’와 ‘사람’의 ‘칭의적연합’에서, ‘하나님의 영광’이 선포된다. 이에, 논자는 『개혁교의학』 전체 체계와내용을 유기적으로 조직화하는 원리를 ‘하나님 중심성’에서 찾아내고, 이 ‘하나님중심적 사유’를 가능케 하는 주요 개념들을 세 가지 형태로 나누어 살펴보면서, 『개혁교의학』에 내포되어 있는 ‘언약론’에서 드러나는 ‘중보자 그리스도의 인격성’이어떻게 실체적으로 ‘하나님의 영광’과 연관이 되는지를 고찰하여, 『개혁교의학』의신학적 사유의 핵심을 밝혀낸다.

영어초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate the theological identity of Geer- hardus Vos’ Reformed Dogmatics. Vos developed ‘Theocentric Theology’ based on the Bible by incorporating ‘Biblical Theology’ into his Reformed Dogmatics. The God-centered Thought refers to think God’s thought after Him, which understands God and His revelation as the basis for the overall interpretation of the world. These ‘God-centered theology’ are more specific through the theory of covenant, which basically focuses on the personality of the Mediator-Christ. In the end, Vos’ ‘Theocentric Theology’ is that God’s glory is realized through the personality of the Mediator-Christ. Nevertheless ‘Theocentric Theology’ does not exclude human beings, but rather the glory of God appears through people. The glory of God is proclaimed through the union with Mediator-Christ. That is imputation of Christ’s righteousness.
Therefore, the author finds the principle of organizing the entire system and contents of Reformed Dogmatics in ‘the God-centeredness.’ First examined the major concepts that enable ‘the God-centeredness’ in three forms. And how the personality of the Mediator-Christ revealed in the Covenant Theology implied in Reformed Dogmatics is related to ‘the glory of God’. By examining whether it is done, it reveals what is the core of the theological thought of Re- formed Dogmatics.
