창의성 검사지와 가설을 생성하게 하는 검사지와의 관계 분석 (The Analysis of the Relationships Between Tests of the Creative Thinking and Tests of the Hypotheses Generating Ability)

초록

본 연구에서는 가설을 생성하게 하는 검사지인 박은미의 ‘가설생성능력 검사지’ 그리고 정진수의
‘과학적 가설생성능력 검사지’가 상업용 표준화된 창의성 검사지인 ‘TTCT(언어) A형 검사지’를 대
신하여 사용할 수 있는지 여부를 알아보고자 하였다. ‘가설생성능력 검사지’와 ‘TTCT 검사지’를 비
교해본 결과 두 검사지는 정적으로 상관 관계(r=.612)가 비교적 높으며 통계적으로 매우 유의미하
다는 결과(p<.001)를 얻었다. 또한 ‘과학적 가설생성능력 검사지’와 ‘TTCT 검사지’를 비교해본 결
과에서도, 정적으로 상관 관계(r=.643)가 높고 통계적으로 매우 유의미하다는 결과(p<.001)를 얻
었다. 또한 ‘TTCT 검사지’, ‘가설생성능력 검사지’ 그리고 ‘과학적 가설생성능력 검사지’ 모두 협의
의 창의성인 발산적 사고력을 측정하고 평가한다는 공통점을 지니고 있다. 따라서 서로에 대한 관
계 분석이 통계적으로 유의미하고 비교적 상관이 높다는 본 연구 결과와 더불어서 모두 공통적으
로 발산적인 사고력을 측정하고 평가하고 있어서 ‘가설생성능력 검사지’ 그리고 ‘과학적 가설생성능
력검사지’는 협의적으로 창의성을 검사하는 표준화된 ‘TTCT 검사지’를 대체해서 사용할 수 있다고
사료된다. ‘가설생성능력 검사지’를 7학년, 8학년, 9학년, 10학년 각 학년 별로 ‘TTCT 검사지’와 비
교해본 결과 각 학년에서 정적으로 상관 관계가 비교적 높게 나타났으며 통계적으로도 매우 유의
미하였다(r=.600, r=.787, r=.514, r=.690, p<.001). 또한 ‘과학적 가설생성능력 검사지’를 7학년,
8학년, 9학년, 10학년 각 학년 별로 ‘TTCT 검사지’와 비교해본 결과도 역시 정적 상관이 있고 통계
적으로 매우 유의미하였다(r=.540, r=.727, r=.594, r=.583, p<.001). 새로이 개정한 ‘2007년 개정
과학과 교육과정’에서 창의적 사고력의 신장을 강조 하고 있으며, 또한 창의성에 대한 학습 평가도
반드시 하도록 되어 있기 때문에, 이 두 개의 ‘가설생성능력 검사지’를 사용하면 중등학생들의 창의
성을 중등학교 교육 현장에서 손쉽게 검사할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

영어초록

The purpose of this study was to introduce relationships between tests of creativity thinking
which is the standardized commercial 'TTCT(Verbal) A type' and tests of the hypotheses
generating abilities(HGA) by Park and the scientific hypotheses generating abilities(SHGA) by
Chung. Our study showed comoparably higher and positive correlation (r=.612, p<.001)
between TTCT(Verbal) A and HGA significantly. Also a comoparably higher and positive
correlation (r=.643, p<.001) between TTCT(Verbal) A and SHGA significantly was shown. These
three tests are same analytical procedure as a divergent thinking for the creativity. At this
moment, the definition for the creativity for those of both tests is the view of the narrow sense
which are many, varied, and unusual ideas of students. Therefore the tests of the HGA and
SHGA can be used easily replaced by tests of creativity thinking for students. The more study
showed that the relationship between TTCT(Verbal) A and HGA in the 7th through 10th grade
students in junior and senior high school revealed also high and positive correlation
significantly(r=.600, r=.787, r=.514, r=.690, p<.001). Also the relationship between TTCT(Verbal)
A and SHGA in the 7th through 10th grade students were positive correlation
significantly(r=.540, r=.727, r=.594, r=.583, p<.001).
Also '2007 revised science national curricula' stress the need of the enhancement of the
creative thinking skills for students. Therefore, tests of HGA and SHGA can be used for the measuring the enhancement of the creative thinking skills for the students in junior and senior
high school by the teaching and learning strategy based on the creativity.
