계획행동이론을 적용한 제주도 가족관광객의 행동의도 연구: 관광동기를 중심으로 (A study on the behavioral intention of family tourists in Jeju Island using the planned behavior model: Focusing on tourism motivation)

초록

본 연구의 목적은 구조 방정식 모델 (SEM)을 적용하여 Ajzen (1991)이 제안한 계획행동이론을 적용하여 구조적 관계를 검증함으로써 제주도를 방문하는 가족 관광객의 행동의도에 대한 관광동기의 효과를 조사하는 것이다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 가족 친화, 역할충실, 교육/지식 동기는 태도에 긍정적 영향을 미치고, 태도와 지각된 행동통제감은 행동의도에 긍정적 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 태도가 행동의도에 미치는 간접적 영향은 가족 친화, 역할충실, 교육/지식 등이 태도를 매개로 하여 행동의도에 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 본 연구의 시사점은 가족 여행객의 태도가 행동의도에 미치는 영향이 매우 커서 목적지의 이해 관계자들이 신념과 태도에 영향을 미치는 목적지의 이미지와 홍보에 많은 노력을 기울여야 한다는 점이다. 따라서 가족 관광객의 방송 프로그램과 각종 소셜 네트워크 사이트를 통해 가족 관광에 대한 유용한 정보를 제공할 필요가 있다. 또한 가족관광 활동은 주변 사람들을 의식하지 않고 자유롭게 진행되며, 행동의도는 돈, 시간, 기회, 정보 등 외부 요인의 영향을 받으며, 가족 여행객의 관광동기가 태도의 매개에 의해 행동의도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 아이들의 교육과 지식을 만족시키고 새로운 것을 통한 자기계발을 강화할 수 있는 교육/지식의 동기를 만족시키기 위해 새롭고 교육적이며, 지식이 풍부한 프로그램을 구축하는 것이 필요하다.

영어초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of tourism motivation on the behavioral intention of family tourists visiting Jeju Island by applying the structural equation model (SEM) to verify the structural relationship by applying the planned behavior model proposed by Ajzen (1991). The results of the study are as follows. First, family friendly, role faithfully, and education/knowledge motivation had a positive influence on attitude. Second, attitude and perceived behavioral control had a positive influence on behavioral intention. Third, the indirect effect of attitude on behavior intention had a significant effect on the behavior intention through family friendly, role faithfully, and education/knowledge of family tourism motivation by mediation of attitude. The implication of this study is that the stakeholders of the destination make a lot of effort in the image and promotion of the destination, which affects the beliefs and attitudes of the family tourists. There is a need to provide useful information about family tourism through broadcast programs and various social network sites. In addition, it is required to construct new educational programs that can satisfy children and strengthen their self-development.
