방한 외래관광객들의 다목적지 관광 특성 및 만족도에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Characteristics and Satisfaction of Multi-destination Travel by International Tourists to Korea)

초록

Although many trips are multi-destination travels formats, but there are not many studies on multi-destination travels. The studies on multi-destination travel have been mainly a marketing approach, and there has been a lack of research on the satisfaction of multi-destination tourists. The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics and satisfaction of multi-destination travel by international tourists to Korea. Raw data from the ‘2018 International Visitor Survey’ by Ministry of Culture, Sports & Tourism were used for the empirical analyses. As a results of this study, first, it is found that the numbers of visited destinations showed the significant difference by travel characteristics(main travel purpose, type of travel, number of visits to Korea). Second, in the analysis of difference of travel satisfaction, it is verified that many sub-satisfaction items have the significant difference by the numbers of visited destinations. In the many sub- satisfaction items, the more destinations they visited, the higher satisfaction they had. Based on these findings, this study discusses useful policy suggestions to decentralize the international tourists.
