태화강 국가정원 시설물 이용행태 분석 (An Analysis of the Usage Behavior on Taehwa River National Garden Facilities)

초록

(연구배경 및 목적) 산업화로 인한 도시 인구과밀 현상으로 도심 내 녹지에 대한 필요성이 강조됨에 따라, 지역별 공공정원 조성에 대한 관심이 쏠리고 있다. 2014년 1호 국가정원인 순천만 국가정원 지정에 이어 2019년 태화강 국가정원의 지정으로 정원문화 확산 및 관련 산업의 발전을 기대하였으나, 2호 국가정원인 태화강 국가정원은 순천만국가정원의 연간 방문자 수에 비해 부족한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구는 태화강 국가정원의 시설 현황을 조사하고, 이용객 관찰을 통하여 시설 이용행태를 분석하여, 향후 태화강 국가정원의 시설 및 공간 개선에 대한 방향성을 제시하는 기초자료로 활용하는데 목적을 둔다. (연구방법) 연구방법으로는 첫째, 태화강 국가정원에 대한 선행연구 분석을 통해 방문목적, 월별 방문 시간대 및 방문 만족도를 파악하고자 한다. 둘째, 전문 조사자 3명을 구성하여, 시설물의 개수를 파악하고 이용객 관찰을 통해 시설 이용행태를 파악한다. 셋째, 이용객의 시설 이용행태와 시설물의 위치와의 관계성을 분석한다. (결과) 태화강 국가정원의 시설 이용행태를 분석한 결과, 휴게시설의 이용 빈도가 비교적 높은 곳은 주 출입구, 경계구역, 코너구간으로 해당 휴게시설의 일정 간격마다 인공 그늘막이 제공되고 있으나, 자연 그늘보다 이용이 저조하다. 정원의 개화시기별 경관 변화에 따라 일부 주제정원에 이용객이 과밀된다. 초화 경관의 유무에 따라 낮과 밤의 이용객 분포가 달라진다. (결론) 분석결과, 태화강 국가정원은 이용객들의 이용행태를 고려한 방안 모색이 필요하다. 첫째, 설치 시기별 관리주체가 다른 시설물들에 대한 통합관리가 가능하도록 행정시스템의 개선이 선행되어야 한다. 둘째, 계절 및 방문시간대에 따른 이용행태의 차이를 고려하여 공간 및 시설에 관한 연구 및 평가가 이루어져야 한다. 셋째, 2028 국제정원박람회 유치를 위한 대규모 시설 도입에 앞서, 태화강 국가정원 공공디자인 가이드라인 마련이 필요하다. 실질적이고 구체적인 공간 구성을 통하여 보다 편리하고 쾌적한 국가정원 환경을 조성하여 이용객들의 체감 만족도를 충족시켜 재방문율을 제고할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

영어초록

(Research Background and Purpose) As the need for green areas in the city is emphasized due to the overcrowding of urban populations due to industrialization, attention is being paid to the creation of public gardens by region. Following the designation of Suncheonman National Garden in 2014, the designation of Taehwa River National Garden in 2019 was expected to spread the garden culture and develop related industries, but the second national garden is insufficient compared to the annual number of visitors to Suncheonman National Garden. Accordingly, the purpose of this study is to investigate the current status of facilities in Taehwa River National Garden, analyze facility use behavior through user observation, and use it as basic data to suggest the direction of future facility and space improvement in Taehwa River National Garden. (Method) As a research method, first, through prior research analysis on Taehwa River National Garden, the purpose of the visit, the monthly period of the visit, and visit satisfaction are to be identified. Second, three professional investigators are formed to figure out the number of facilities and analyze usage behavior. Third, it analyzes the relationship between usage behavior and the location of the facility. (Result) As a result of the field survey, the places where the use of rest facilities is relatively high are the main entrance, boundary areas, and corner sections, and artificial shade is provided at regular intervals in the rest facilities, but its use is less than that of natural shade. Depending on the changes in the landscape of the garden according to the flowering period, some of the theme gardens are overcrowded. The distribution of visitors during the day and at night varies depending on the presence or absence of the flower landscape. (Conclusion) As a result of the analysis, Taehwa River National Garden needs to find a way to consider the usage behavior of users. First, the improvement of the administrative system should be preceded so that the management entity by the installation period can integrate the management of other facilities. Second, research and evaluation of space and facilities should be conducted in consideration of differences in usage behavior according to the season and time zone of the visit. Third, prior to the introduction of large-scale facilities to host the 2028 International Garden Fair, it is necessary to prepare the guidelines for the public design of the Taehwa River National Garden. It is expected that a more convenient and pleasant national garden environment will be created through a practical and specific space composition to meet the satisfaction of users and increase the rate of revisitation.
