청소년의 가족위험요인, 우울, 무망감, 자살생각 간의 구조적 관계 (Structural Relationships Among Adolescents’ Family Risk Factors, Depression, Hopelessness, and Suicidal Ideation)

초록

본 연구는 청소년의 가족위험요인을 변화가 가능한 통제 가능 가족위험과 변화하기 어려운 통제 불가능한 가족위험으로 구분하여, 통제 가능 및 통제 불가능한 가족위험요인, 우울, 무망감, 자살생각 간의 구조적 관계를 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 서울·경기지역의 중·고등학생 796명을 대상으로 설문자료를 수집하였으며, 최종 분석에는 750명의 자료를 활용하였다. 수집한 자료의 분석을 통해 다음과 같은 연구결과를 얻을 수 있었다. 첫째, 통제 가능 및 통제 불가능한 가족위험요인은 자살생각에 직접적인 영향을 미치면서, 우울을 매개하여 간접적으로도 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 통제 가능 및 통제 불가능한 가족위험요인은 무망감에 직접적으로 영향을 미쳤고, 무망감을 매개하여 우울에 간접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 통제 가능 및 통제 불가능한 가족위험요인은 무망감을 매개하여 자살생각에 영향을 미치지는 않는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 연구결과를 토대로 연구의 의의와 한계점 및 향후 연구방향을 제시하였다.

영어초록

This study divides family risk factors of adolescents into controllable risks, which are possible to change, and uncontrollable risks, which are difficult to change, and attempts to examine structural relationships among controllable and uncontrollable family risk factors, depression, hopelessness, and suicidal ideation. This study collected questionnaires from 796 middle and high school students in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province, and the data of 750 students were used in the analysis. The results were as follows: First, both controllable and uncontrollable family risk factors had a direct effect on suicidal ideation and an indirect effect when mediated by depression. Second, both controllable and uncontrollable family risk factors had a direct effect on hopelessness, and an indirect effect on depression when mediated by hopelessness. Third, both controllable and uncontrollable family risk factors did not have an effect on suicidal ideation when mediated by hopelessness. Based on these findings, the study presents its significance, limitations, and future research direction.
