간호대학생의 진로정체감에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Career Identity of Nursing Students)

초록

본 연구는 간호대학생의 간호이미지 인식, 성 고정관념 및 성 역할정체감이 진로정체감에 미치는 영향을 분석하기 위하여 시도되었다. 본 연구는 서술적 조사연구로 자료 수집은 2018년 10월 1일부터 31일까지 일개 간호대학생 165명을 대상으로 하였다. 연구결과 간호대학생의 일반적 특성에 따른 진로정체감 정도는 학년, 대인관계 만족도, 임상실습경험, 임상실습 만족도에 따라 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다. 진로정체감은 간호이미지 인식(r=.39, p<.001), 성 역할정체감(r=.48, p<.001)과는 양의 상관관계를, 성 고정관념(r=-.23, p=.003)과는 음의 상관관계를 보였다. 간호대학생의 진로정체감에 영향을 미치는 중요한 요인은 성 역할정체감, 임상실습 만족도 및 간호이미지 인식 순이었으며, 이들 변수는 대상자의 진로정체감을 30.7% 설명하였다. 이들 연구를 토대로 간호대학생의 올바른 진로정체감 확립을 위해서는 대인관계 만족도를 높이고, 성 역할정체감과 간호이미지의 긍정적인 인식이 중요하다. 또한 대상자의 임상실습만족도를 향상시킬 수 있는 교육 프로그램과 관리방안의 개발과 적용이 이루어져야겠다.

영어초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of nursing image recognition, gender stereotypes and gender-role identity on career identity in nursing students. This study is a descriptive study design and data collected were from October 1 to 31, 2018. The subjects were 165 nursing students recruited from one college. As a results, Career identity showed differences according to grade, interpersonal satisfaction, experiences of clinical practice and satisfaction of clinical practice. Career identity was significantly positive correlation with nursing image recognition (r=.39, p<.001), gender-role identity (r=.48, p<.001), and negative correlation with gender stereotype (r=-.23, p=.003). Gender-role identity, satisfaction of clinical practice and nursing image recognition were significant predictors of career identity in nursing students, and these variables accounted for 30.7% of career identity. Based on the results of these studies, the satisfaction of interpersonal relations and the positive recognition of gender-role identity and nursing images are important for establishing the correct career identity of nursing students. In addition, the development and application of education programs and management plan to improve the satisfaction of clinical practice of nursing students should be made.
