초록

본 연구는 지체장애인의 성적 존중감과 신체적 존중감이 장애수용에 미치는 영향을 탐색하고 그 관계에 대한 결혼유지 상태의 조절효과를 밝히는데 목적이 있다. 이 연구의 대상은 대전의 지체장애인으로 선정하였으며, 총330명에게 설문조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 PASW 18.0 프로그램을 이용하여 조절회귀분석을 하였다. 연구결과 성적 존중감과 신체적 존중감이 장애수용에 정적인 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 결혼유지 상태의 조절효과가 부분적으로만 나타났다. 결혼비유지 집단에 비해 결혼유지 집단에서 성적존중감이 자기만족에 미치는 효과가 큰 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과를 통해 장애인의 장애수용과 성적·신체적 존중감의 수준 향상에 도움이 될 수 있는 경험적 자료를 제공하여 장애인들이 삶의 질 증진에 기여하고자 한다.

영어초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between sexual and body esteem, and acceptance to disability in persons with physical disability, and examine the moderate effect of marital status on those relationship. The data collected from 330 persons with physical impairment was analyzed. The information gathered were analyzed under multiple regression analysis methods utilizing an PASW 18.0 program. The findings indicate that sexual and body esteem is a significant predictor of acceptance to disability. The independent variables appeared to explain more of variance in married persons than in unmarried persons. Marital status differences were found in relationship between sexual esteem and self-satisfaction. The examination of sexual and body esteem, and acceptance to disability in persons with physical disability is a research that hold great promise for scholarship that will enable social workers to more effectively help consumers enjoy a increased quality of life.
