설득 저항과 쓰기 평가 간 관계 고찰 (A Study on the Relationship between Persuasion Resistance and Writing Assessment)

초록

설득 저항은 텍스트를 수용하는 과정에서 발생하는 독자의 다양한 인지적, 정의적, 행위적 측면에서의 복합적 심리 양상이다. 이는 인지적 기준을 중심으로 이루어지는 쓰기 평가와는 일정 부분 차이가 있다. 하지만 텍스트를 독자 자신의 가치 기준의 잣대에 비추어 평가한다는 측면에서 설득 저항과 쓰기 평가는 일정한 연관 관계에 있다고 할 수 있다. 이러한 문제의식을 두 가지 연구 가설로 구체적으로 상정하고, 그 결과를 도출하였다.
첫째, 설득 저항이 쓰기 평가에 부정적으로 작용할 수 있다는 점인데, 이는 설득 저항과 쓰기 평가의 결과가 뚜렷하게 부적 상관관계를 보여준다는 점에서 확인 가능하다. 둘째, 쓰기 평가에 비해 설득 저항의 경우는 그 수용의 범위 정도가 매우 넓게 분포하는데, 이는 인지적 측면에 국한되는 쓰기 평가에 비하여 설득 저항은 인지, 정의, 행위와 다방면으로 연관될 수 있기 때문이다.

영어초록

Persuasion resistance is a complex psychological process that arises from cognitive, affective, and behavioral changes that occur in readers during the process of accepting texts. This process is different from writing assessments, which are cognitive activities. However, persuasion resistance and writing assessments are related in that they both involve readers evaluating texts in light of their own values. This study tested two related hypotheses about these differences.
There were two main results. The first result was that persuasion resistance had a strongly negative effect on writing assessments, which was further supported by the fact that persuasion resistance and writing assessments were negatively correlated. The second result was that the range of acceptance for persuasion resistance was more widely distributed than that of writing assessments because persuasion resistance is related to cognition, emotion, and behavior while writing assessments are only related to cognition.
