The purpose of this study was to analyze physical self-perception, and self-esteem in experience of dance. 432 female college dancers majoring in Ballet, Modern, and Korean dance complete the Physical Self-Perception Profile(PSPP), and the Self-Esteem Inventory. The results of one-way ANOVAs indicated that Korean dancers exhibited more higher dance perceived competence, self-worth, self-esteem than Ballet dancers. The results correlation analysis indicated that self esteem showed significantly correlation self-worth. The result regression analysis indicated that the Ballet dancers influenced body attractiveness and physical self-worth in PSPP. The PSPP subfactors significantly influenced physical self-worth in Modern dancers. The PSPP subfactors significantly influenced body attractiveness, strength, and physical self-worth in Korean dancers. The result regression analysis indicated that the Ballet dancers and Modern dancers influenced physical self-worth in PSPP. The PSPP subfactors significantly influenced physical condition, strength, and physical self-worth in Korean dancers.
