초록

본 연구는 한국과 일본의 현행 도덕교육 교육과정에 준거하여 발행된 도덕교과서에 나타난 실제인물들의 성향과 서술내용을 비교･분석함으로써 양국의 도덕교육이 지향하는 인간상의 특징을 밝히는 데 그 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해 먼저 도덕교육에 있어서의 인물 학습의 의의와 인물을 분석하는 데 적용할 제반 요소를 살펴본 후, 실제인물의 성별과 국적, 출현시대, 그리고 직장 및 신분 등 제반 요소를 알아보고자 한다. 나아가 실제인물에 관한 서술의 형식을 분석하고, 도덕교과서에 묘사된 실제인물의 인품이나 삶의 모습, 그리고 가르침 등에서 도출할 수 있는 도덕적 가치를 비교･분석하고자 한다.

영어초록

The purpose of this very research lies in revealing the human character aspired by the moral education of both Korea and Japan by comparing and analyzing the described contents as well as the tendencies of actual figures presented in ethics textbooks published according to the standards projected by currently used ethics education curriculum in Korea and Japan. In order for this, various elements are investigated that are to be applied to the analysis of the definition of a character study as well as the true figure regarding the moral education. Furthermore, the form of depiction about actual figure will be analyzed and at the same time, the ethical values that can be extracted from personality, lifestyle, beliefs and etc of the actual figure described in the text will be compared and analyzed.
