This research aims to produce data to help vitalize the 0 hour physical education class, by studying how the 0 hour physical education class affects middle school students' sociality and school life adaptation. The subject of this research are two Gyeonggido-based middle schools- N Middle school, in which the 0 hour physical education class took effect, and P middle school.
Conclusion obtained from the research process above is as in the following.
First, in the sociality analysis of demographic characteristic, sociality according to grade level showed significant difference in dominance. Sociality according to school grade showed significant difference in sociability and autonomy. Sociality according to participating period showed significant difference in sociability, dominance, and activity.
Second, in the school life adaptation analysis of demographic characteristic, school life adaptation according to sex showed significant difference in relation to school rules. School life adaptation according to grade level showed significant difference in relationship with friends and teachers, and in classes. School life adaptation according to school grade showed positively significant difference in all relationships, with friends, teachers, school regulations and classes. School life adaptation according to participation period showed positively significant difference in relationship with friends, teachers, school rule, and classes.
Third, in the sociality analysis according to whether 0 hour physical education class took effect, sociability, dominance, stability, activity and autonomy all showed positively significant difference following the 0 hour physical education class in effect.
