한국 현대문학에 나타난 세대 갈등과 극복 (Intergenerational Conflicts in Korean Modern Literature)

초록

This research study the aspects of intergenerational conflicts that expressed in korean modern literature. Human beings experienced a various generational conflicts with the fate of one's own generation. Generally The aspects of generational conflicts combined with the process of civiization. The first phase in the process of civilization is characterized with a continual increase of external controls over human's emotional and physical expressions. The second phase is the the internalization of these external controls. The third phase weaken these controls with the de-ritualization of everyday life. Korean people had experienced these three phase in two siecle's short term.
Especially industrialization and modernization were a primary factor which give rise to the violent intergenerational conflicts. But, in korean modern literature the deployment of intergenerational conflicts has two outset, one is at first 21century's modernization, the other is the 1950's Korean war. The war sew up a deep wound over the shocks of modernization and industrialization. The recovery of Korean war 's hurt only is capable of 1990's post-modern society. Intergenerational conflicts in post-modern society become weakened and the youth take the leading role as a part of social reconciliation.
