초록

본 연구는 어린이집 통학차량 운행과 관련한 교사의 인식을 안전지식, 어려움, 그리고 요구도에 따라
살펴봄으로써 교사교육을 위한 기초자료를 제공하는데 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해 서울 및 경기도에
위치한 어린이집에서 근무하고 있는 교사 315명을 대상으로 질문지를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 빈
도분석을 하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 어린이집 통학차량 운행과 관련한 안전지식에 대한
교사의 인식을 보면, 교사의 대부분은 보육교직원 동승 및 영유아의 안전한 인도에 관한 문항에 대해
안전지식을 갖고 있었으나, 안전지식의 내용에 따라 다른 양상을 보였다. 둘째, 어린이집 통학차량
운행과 관련한 어려움에 대한 교사의 인식에서는 신체적으로 힘들다에 대해 매우 그렇다고 인식한 교
사들이 많았던 반면 동료교사와의 갈등으로 인한 어려움에 대해서는 매우 그렇지 않다는 인식이 높았
다. 셋째, 어린이집 통학차량 운행과 관련한 요구도에 대한 교사의 인식에서는 교사들이 재정적 지원
및 교육에 관한 지원을 요구하였으며, 특히 차량 전담 도우미 지원에 대한 요구도에 대해 높게 인식하
였다. 이와 같은 결과를 바탕으로 어린이집 통학차량 운행과 관련한 제반 사항에 대한 교사의 안전지
식 교육 및 영유아의 어린이집 통학 참여를 위한 부모교육의 필요성과 차량 전담 도우미 지원 및 보조
교사의 전담에 대해 제안하였다.

영어초록

This study were purposed to provide basic data for teacher education by investigating teacher’s
perception according to safety knowledge, difficulties, and needs related to daycare centers’ bus
running. For this study, we provided surveys to 315 teachers working at the daycare centers in Seoul
and Gyeonggi-do. The collected data was analyzed by frequency analysis. The results of this study
can be summarized as follows: First, teacher's perception about the safety knowledges about daycare
centers’ bus running showed different aspects of the contents about the safety knowledge. Second,
in the teacher's perception about difficulties associated with daycare centers’ bus running, teachers
indicated no conflicts with colleagues but the physical difficulties. Third, in teacher's perception about
daycare centers’ bus running, teachers recognized the need of financial support and teacher education
and highly recognized the need of assistant staff for the bus running. Proceeding from what has
been said above, it was proposed the need of teacher education about safety knowledge related
daycare centers’ bus running, parent education for commute to daycare centers, and assistant staffs
for the bus running.
