본연구는유·초연계북버디프로그램이초등학교2학년아동의친사회성과읽기태도에미치는영향을알아보고자하였다.이를위해P초등학교2학년아동50명(실험집단25명,비교집단25
명)을연구대상으로선정하였다.실험집단에는16주동안총16회에걸쳐유·초연계북버디프로
그램을실시하였으며비교집단은개별독서활동을실시하였다.유·초연계북버디프로그램은상
급학생또래교수의한방법으로초등학교2학년학생이또래교수자가되어유치원생인또래학습자
에게책을읽어주고관련언어활동을함께하였다.수집된자료는공변량분석을이용하여친사회
성과독서태도향상에대해실험집단과비교집단의차이가있는지를알아보았다.연구결과,첫째,
실험집단아동들은비교집단아동들보다친사회성이유의미하게높게나타났으며하위요인인준
법성,사교성,자주성에도유의미한향상을나타났다.이는북버디프로그램이2학년아동의친사
회성에긍정적인영향을미쳤다고할수있다.둘째,실험집단은비교집단보다읽기태도에서유의
미한향상을보였으며하위요인인여가읽기태도,학습관련읽기태도에도유의미한차이가나타났
다.북버디프로그램이2학년아동의읽기태도에긍정적인영향을미쳤다고할수있다.이상의연
구결과를통해유·초연계북버디프로그램은초등학교2학년아동의친사회성증진과읽기태도
향상에효과가있었음을알수있다.따라서유아와초등학생이1:1로짝을지어정기적으로책을
읽는활동을지속적으로제공할수있는구체적인실천방안을모색해야할것이다.
영어 초록
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of a book buddy programwhich connects the kindergarten and elementary school on 2nd grade elementary school
children's prosocial behavior and reading attitude. Two classes of 2nd grade students (25
children in the experimental group and 25 children in the comparative group) at an elementary
school participated in this study. The book buddy program was conducted 16 times for 16
weeks on the experimental group, while the comparative group read the books individually.
ANCOVA was employed to analyze the data. The results of this study were as follows: First,
there was a significant difference between the experimental group and comparison group with
respect to the prosocial behavior. The book buddy program that connected the kindergarten
and elementary school positively influenced 2nd grade students' prosocial behavior. Second,
there was a significant difference between the experimental group and comparison group with
respect to the reading attitude.
In conclusion, the book buddy program that connects the kindergarten and elementary school
has positive effects on prosocial behavior and reading attitude development for 2nd grade
elementary school students.
