본 연구의 목적은 장애 이해 프로그램 실시 여부에 따라 장애학생에 대한 일반학생의 태도에 변화가 있는지를 알아보는 것이다. 연구의 대상은 강원도 고성군에 위치한 K초등학교 5학년 2개 반으로 실험에 참가한 학생 수는 총 43명이며 편의상 한 학급을 실험집단으로, 다른 학급을 통제집단으로 구분하였다. 실험집단에는 총22회기에 걸쳐 장애 이해 프로그램을 실시하였고, 통제집단은 일반교육과정을 진행하였다. 연구 결과, 장애 이해 프로그램을 실시한 실험집단은 통제집단과 비교하여 장애 수용 태도에 긍정적인 변화를 보였다. 본 연구 결과를 통해 장애학생에 대한 일반학생의 태도 변화를 위한 중재도구의 필요성과 효과를 확인하였으며, 교육 현장에서 일반학생의 태도를 변화시키기 위해 사용할 수 있는 중재도구로서 장애 이해 프로그램의 적용이 하나의 방법이 될 수 있다는 것을 확인하였다.

영어 초록

The purpose of this study was to know how non-disabled children's attitude toward disabled children can change conducting the disability understanding program.
Results of this study are as follows.
First, of disability acceptance attitudes of non-disabled children, to know the change of cognitive, definitive factor, the experimental group that applied to disability program made a difference statistically in the pretest and the posttest compared to the controlled group.
Second, of disability acceptance attitudes of non-disabled children, to know the change of behavioral factor, the experimental group that applied to disability program made a difference statistically in the pretest and the posttest compared to the controlled group.
Third, to know the change of disabled children's attitude about inclusive education, the experimental group that applied to disability program made a difference statistically in the pretest and the posttest compared to the controlled group.
