The purpose of this study is to fine out the relationship between the learning attitude in physical education and the physical fitness, the motor skill for elementary school students.
The subjects are sonsisted of 53 bovs and 41 girls in fifthe grades of D elementary school in Taegu. The investigation of learning attitude is performed by Gobayasi's questionnaire. Measurement items in the physical fitness and the motor skill are in standing height, weight. chest girth, grip strength, 50m run. standing long jump, sit-ups. trunk flexion, fast dribble, wall pass, and softball throwing. 2-way ANOVA each test items is used to investigate the sex and the learning attitude(high and low) difference. The correlation coefficients of the learning attitudem the physical fitness and the motor the learning attitude.
The conclusions acquired are as follows:
1. In the sex difference. standing long jump, sit-ups, dribble and softball throwing were greater in boy group than girl's significantly (p<..05)
2.In 2-way ANOVA of physique, weight and chest girth were greater in low group than high's significantly in attitute<p<.05). And inphysical fitness. 50m run. standing long jump, sit-ups were greater in high group than low's signficantly in attitute(p<.05). And in motor skill. dribble and softball throwning were greater in high group than low's significantly in attitute(p<.05)
3. In aspect of result that compared to T-score all of the variable, boy and girl are showed a different pattern. High group of boy in attitude acquired the greates of scores and low group of girl in attitude acquired the lowest of scores for the motor skill.
4. In boy, the attitude is correlated with sit-ups(r=.364) and softball throwing(r=.336). On the other hand. weight and chest girth are reversely correlated with attitude both boy and girl : weigth(boy:r= -.278, girl;r= -539), chest girth(boy:r=-306, girl:r=-492). In girl, the attitude is correlated with standing long jump(r=.469), softball throwing(r=.372) and fast dribble (r=-.395).
5. In the regression equations of the learning attitude, fast dribble and chest girth are selected. When it is to be classified into groups. standing long jump is selected in low group in attitude. And when the sex difference, sit-ups and standing height are selected in boy group and standing long jump is selected in girl group. But this regression equation is not adequate for 20.
