한국어 초록

7차 사회과 교육과정의 내용 구성에서는 종전 교육과정 내용의 70% 수준으로 감축한다고 강조하였
지만, 여전히 학교 현장에서 받아들이기에는 사회과 내용이 너무 많고 또한 어려운 것으로 인식하고
있다. 이는 사회과 학습의 내용량을 적정화하여 학습자들에게 적은 내용으로 재미있고 깊이 있게 학습하도록 구성해야할 필요성이 제기되고 있다. 이러한 관점에서 사회과의 교육과정과 교과서의 내용량에대한 적정화의 연구가 이루어져야 한다.본 연구에서는 내용 적정화를 위한 사회과 교육과정 구성으로서 주제 스트랜드를 도입한 단원 구성방략을 제시하려고 한다. 이를 위하여, 먼저 교육 내용의 적정화의 개념과 기준을 규명해 보고 사회과교육의 내용 구성에 있어 주제 스트랜드의 도입과 그 구성 절차를 제시한다. 이러한 과정을 거쳐 사회과의 내용 적정화를 위한 교육과정 구성을 논의하면서 내용 적정화를 위한 주제 스트랜드 중심의 초등학교 4학년 사회과 단원 구성의 실제를 제시하고 있다.

It composition of contents in curriculum of 7th social studies emphasized that reduces
70% level of heretofore curriculum contents, but as ever, contents of social studies from
school site are many too much and also they are recognizing with the difficult thing. it
have relevance to the contents quantity of the social studies, there is propose to compose for
be a fun with contents of small quantity and there to be in order to study a depth. in this
viewpoint, the research of the relevance about contents quantity of curriculum and textbook
of the social studies must become accomplished.
This study tried to presents a strategy on constructing of unit that introduced thematic
strands as composition with curriculum of social studies for relevance of contents. for this
way, first, examine standard and concept of relevance in education contents, it propose to
introduce of thematic strands and the process of constructing. with like this process, It
discusses the composition of curriculum for the relevance of contents in social studies.
further, propose practice in unit composition of fourth grades on constructing of thematic
strands-based curriculum for the relevance of contents.
