Abstract

초록

본 논문은 80년대 이후 예전의 독일연방공화국의 특수교육, 특히 정신지체교육학(Geistig- behindertenp dagogik)의 이론과 실제에 커다란 영향을 미치고 있는 총체적 이론( kolo- gischer Anzatz)이 한국의 정신지체를 가진 아동과 청소년들의 질적인 교육과 좀더 나은 사회적 조력에 어떠한 의미를 주며, 이 이론의 어떠한 원칙과 방안이 한국의 특수교육현장에 적용 가능한지를 조사·연구한 논문이다. 총체적 이론은 교육적 숙고와 행위의 초점을 부분(Teil) 즉 '손상(장애)' 혹은 '개인'에서 전체 즉 '환경 안에서의 특수한 교육적, 삶의 욕구를 가진 全人間(das Ganze des Menschen mit speziellen Erziehungsung Lebensbedurfnissen in seiner Lebenswelt)'과 그가 몸담고 살아가는 삶의 환경으로 옮겨야 한다고 주장하면서, 전인간과 삶의 현장을 파악하는 이론적 체계이다. 연구의 가장 큰 성과는 총체적 이론의 연구를 통해 우리의 특수교육과 그것을 있게 한 한국적 사고를 알게되었다는 것이다. 전체성에 대한 사고, 사회의 관계성, 인간의 자율성 혹은 각 개체(조직)의 자율성이 한국적 사고와 특수교육현장 안에서 재검토되었다. 결론적으로 한국의 인식 안에 깊이 뿌리내리고 있는 전체성, 관계성을 재발견·재정립하고 우리에게 미흡한 인간(개체)의 자율성을 보완한다면 아동과 청소년들이 좀 더 나은 교육적·사회적 도움을 받으며, 그들이 이 사회를 진정한 oikors(집)로 느끼며 살아갈 수 있을 것이다.

영어초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of ecological theory on the quality education of the mental retardation child and adolescence, the meaning of social assistance, and the probability of application in Korea. The ecological theory had a great influence on the theory and practice of education for the handicapped specially mental retardation pedagogics at the Federal Republic of Germany in 1980's.
The educational consideration and behavior of ecological theory focused on moving change from partial view, that is, handicapped individual to holistic view, that is, 'the holistic man having the need of special educational life within his environment', In addition, it is systemical theory stand holistic human and life field.
The great product of this study was to understand our real situation of education for the handicapped and Korean thinking to be that, It was reexamined thinking of the holistic view, social relationship, and human autonomy (or individual autonomy) in the field of education for the handicapped and Korean thinking.
