I believe consumerism is deeply connected to plastic pollution because most of the plastic comes from what people used and the company usually follow what customer wants that is highly connected with their sales. Nowadays, especially due to pandemic, plastic consumption in our daily lives have been more highly increased even before. For example, we have to wear a mask whenever we go out and most of the masks we use are disposable for our hygiene and health.
