There is a debate on which factors affect the formation of people’s characteristics. Some folks believe that individuals’ personalities are formed when they are born. However, I counter this opinion because I strongly advocate that people’s characters are much influenced by the acquired environmental factors which they experience. As such, in this essay, I will elaborate why I support this opinion.

Some people who believe that personal characters are obtained innately have some valid points. Firstly, people’s appearances are very similar with family members who have the same gene pool. It is an essential part which people get when they were born. Secondly, family members usually have similar emotions and temper. As a result, they have resembled personalities and reactions towards an occasion. In short, when people were born, the formed characteristics have already been possessed.

However, I strongly believe that folks characters are much impacted from the environmental factors. The most important point is parents’ education.
