1. Was the patient blinded to the intervention?
The subjects indicated their pain by placing a vertical line through the VAS line at the point that represented their levels of neck pain 처음에는 환자들은 무작위로 그룹이 나누어졌고 할당량 조차도 모르는 상태에서 치료를 받았으니 개입에 Blinded될 수 밖에 없다고 판단했습니다. 하지만 피실험자들이 자신의 고통 수준을 직접 표시를 했고 이에 주관적인 의견이 들어 갈 수 도 있음을 고려하여 치료에 개입을 했을 수 도 있다고 판단했습니다.
