Fast foods are eating away at our children. According to a National Center for Health Statistics report in 2015, 34.3 percent of children and adolescents consume their daily nutrition from fast foods (“Fast food source”). The main reason why they eat lots of fast foods is that they have easy access to fast foods everywhere. Additionally, advertisements with fast foods are attractive to children by catching the eyes of them. Nevertheless advertisement for fast foods should be banned and schools also should educate children about the risks of eating fast foods because children are likely to suffer from health problems including obesity, nutritional unbalance, and brain development.First of all, consuming fast foods calories to a much higher risk of obesity because fast foods contain more calories that is recommended by experts. In May 2016, a Bic Mac burger at McDonald’s had 540 calories, a Whopper at Burger King’s had 630 calories, and a Double with cheese burger at Wendy’s had 790 calories (“Fast Food and”).
